Dear trenchhead,

There are pages I could spend on explaining why TFS is grinding to a halt for now.  The last time I was on a podcast that met its early demise, I was consulted by a small team of people who are better communicators than I could ever be.  They aided me in writing the goodbye message.  This time, I’m trying it on my own.  Let’s see if I learnt something from both experiences.
The last couple of weeks have been spent with me thinking about the future of this project.  Making countless lists about why I should continue and how I should continue.  In the end, there was only one conclusion: I did not nearly get as much out of it as I was investing.  Up to the point where I was even losing sleep.  Logic prevailed, and that led me to this decision.  I’m closing the trenches.
I learnt a lot, met some great people and was partly responsible for a great work in the guise of our tactics guide.  If you haven’t downloaded it, please do so.  There is no telling if this page will be online in its current form for long.  So, a lot of positive stuff came out of TFS.  Here’s hoping you had some too.

Should there be a crew out there who would be willing to take up the name and the mantle, I’m always open to discussing it.  For now, this old coot is returning to his ditch…  🙂
